If your AMP Futures account hasn’t had any activity and its balance stayed at $0 for 12 months straight, regulations require it to be marked as inactive. So AMP automatically deactivates accounts that meet these conditions.
How to Get Back to Trading
If your account was closed because of inactivity, here’s what to do next:
-
Agree to the Terms Again
You’ll need to agree to the current Customer Agreement and confirm you understand the risks of futures trading. -
Start a New Application
Login your AMP Client Portal and "Start New Application".
Do NOT send money to your old (deactivated) account.
Once your new account application is approved, you’ll be able to fund it and begin trading again., with your NEW account number.
Quick Summary
If AMP deactivated your account for inactivity, you must start fresh, agree to the current agreement and apply for a new account. Once new account application is approved and funded, you'll be ready to trade again.
