Which request type do I select on the Live Trading setup request form?

​When completing the Live Trading Setup Request Form in your AMP Client Portal, you will encounter five request types. Here's a simplified explanation to help you choose the right one:​

Initial Setup (New):

• Use this if: You are setting up a data feed connection with AMP Futures for the first time. This applies if you're a new customer who has just deposited funds and has not had any prior connections.

Existing Setup - Reactivate/Update/Change Data Feed:

• Use this if: You need to reactivate a previous connection (e.g., one that was disabled due to a low balance) or if you want to modify your current data feed by adding or removing data.

Additional User Setup (New):

• Use this if: You want to add a second CQG user to your existing trading account. This allows you to log into two CQG-compatible platforms simultaneously. Be aware that adding a second CQG user incurs a $10 monthly fee, plus any applicable monthly exchange data fees. This will also work with Rithmic connections as well; you will not receive a 2nd set of Rithmic credentials. AMP will simply increase your max session count for your Rithmic connection to 2, for example, so this allows you to connect to two Rithmic-compatible platforms for your existing Rithmic credentials. This will trigger another set of Rithmic data feed charges as well.​

Add Account to Existing User:

• Use this if: You want to link an additional account, such as a (Sub account), to an already existing user, for example, your (Primary account), when all accounts are using the same connection, such as CQG or Rithmic. You cannot link accounts when they are using different data feeds; for example, you cannot link a subaccount enabled for Rithmic to a primary account enabled for CQG. 

This gives you the ability to use a single login to access multiple accounts.

Once you select "Add Account to Existing User" for the "Request type," you will then see either your CQG username or Rithmic username, depending on what you are enabled for, as shown in the screenshot below, and you can then select which username you want your subaccount linked to.

Disable All Exchange Data:

• Use this if: You wish to deactivate all active data feed connections on your account.
