This guide explains what each status means during the AMP Futures account application process, so you know exactly where you are and what to do next.
- Not Started: You have registered your Portal User but haven’t started the application. Please login your AMP Client Portal and Click “Continue Application” to begin your application.
- In Progress: You’ve started the application but haven’t completed it yet. Please login your AMP Client Portal and Click “Continue Application” to start where you left off.
- Submitted: Your application has been submitted. However, you haven’t uploaded the initial documents requested. To upload, click “+ Add Documents”.
First Joint Applicant Submitted: If you have submitted a joint application, this means that your portion of the application has been completed. We’ve sent an invitation email to the secondary joint applicant to register their portal to begin their part of the application.
>> If the other member of your joint hasn’t received this invitation email, you may re-send by clicking “Joint Applicant Information”.
- Under Review: Your application has been completed, and all required documents have been supplied. Our New Accounts Department is reviewing the application and processing all due diligence/background checking.
- Pending Additional Documents: New Accounts has requested additional documents to complete your application. You will be notified by email/text of the request. Once logged into your portal, under the Home dashboard, click “+ Add Documents” to add the requested documents. Once added, your application will be placed back Under Review.
- Compliance Review: Final review by our Compliance Department.
- Approved: Your application has been approved, and a trading account has been assigned.
- Closed Due to Inactivity: There was a period of prolonged inactivity in the account and the account has been closed. Account deactivated for prolonged inactivity.
- Declined: Unfortunately, we are unable to approve your account application.
- Expired: It has been too long since you started the application to complete it. This application has expired. You will need to begin a new one.
