To check the status of your check deposit to AMP Futures, follow these steps:
1. Log into the AMP Client Portal:
- Access your account at AMP Client Portal.
2. Navigate to the "Treasury" Section:
- Click on the "Treasury" tab.
- Select "Balance" to view your current account balance.
3. Review Your Balance:
- Check if your recent deposit is reflected in the balance.
- Keep in mind that check deposits takes 5-business days to process and clear.
Important Notes:
- Processing Time: Due to potential mail delays, especially in the Chicago area, check deposits might take longer to arrive and process. Consider using bank wire or ACH transfers for faster funding. How to fund account using ACH
- Balance Updates: The Client Portal displays your balance based on the most recent daily statement, typically generated around midnight CST. If your deposit was processed today, it might not reflect in your balance until the next statement cycle.
By default, you will be in the "Submitted" state view, showing all the pending checks you have on hold. Simply look at the "Clear date" column to confirm the release of the check, and the funds will be available in the statement balance in your portal shortly after midnight Central Standard Time that day.
