You can add funds to your AMP Futures account by making a deposit through the AMP Client Portal. Here’s how:
Deposit Methods:
AMP offers several ways to deposit money into your account:
- Bank Wire Transfer (Fastest - Same Business Day)
- ACH Transfer (Only for U.S. bank accounts) - 3-Business Day Hold
- Check (Only for U.S. bank accounts) - 5-Business Day Hold
- Broker-to-Broker Transfer (Moving funds from another broker)
How to Deposit:
- Log into the AMP Client Portal – Sign in with your username and password.
- Go to the Deposit Section – Click on the option to start a deposit.
- Choose Your Deposit Method – Pick from bank wire, ACH, check, or broker transfer.
- Follow the Instructions – Each method has specific steps, so carefully enter your details.
- Send the Funds – Use the provided AMP bank details to complete your transfer.

Wait for Processing – Deposit times vary:
- Bank Wires: Same Business Day Received.

- Check: All checks will be held 5-business days to clear
- Broker Transfers: Processing times depend on the sending broker.
Important Notes:
- Make sure you use the correct AMP bank details to avoid delays.
- Your deposit must come from a bank account account matching your AMP Trading Account name (third-party deposits are not allowed).
- AMP does not process deposits on weekends or holidays.
ACH Deposit instructions
You can deposit funds using ACH Transfer by linking your bank account through Plaid in the AMP Client Portal.
Steps to Link Your Bank and Make an ACH Deposit:
- Log into the AMP Client Portal – Click here to log in.
- Go to the Treasury Section – Click on "Treasury" > "Accounts".
- Link Your Bank with Plaid – Select "Link a New Bank Using Plaid" and follow the on-screen steps.
- Select Your Bank – Search for your bank and log in securely through Plaid.
- Follow the Instructions – Complete the linking process and confirm your ACH deposit details.
Once your bank is linked, you can initiate ACH deposits directly through the portal.

Approval & Submitting an ACH Deposit
After you submit your Plaid bank link request, our Treasury department will review it. Once approved, you’ll receive an email or text notification.
How to Submit an ACH Deposit:
- Log into the AMP Client Portal.
- Go to "Treasury" > "Deposits / Withdrawals."
- Click "New Transaction Request."
- Select "ACH Deposit" as the Request Type.
- Enter the deposit details and submit your request.
Once submitted, your deposit will be processed based on ACH transfer timelines.
Wire Transfer or Check Deposit
You can also deposit funds using a wire transfer or by mailing a physical personal check.
How to Access Deposit Instructions:
- Log into the AMP Client Portal.
- Go to "Treasury" > "Deposit Instructions."
- Select your preferred deposit method (Wire or Check) to view the details.
Follow the provided instructions to complete your deposit.
