In case of my death, how would AMP handle my funds?

AMP would require a copy of the customer’s death certificate, and legal documents signed by a probate judge, along with the ID of the beneficiary. 

Please do not close any bank accounts that may be in the name of the deceased. If any money is available in the deceased's AMP account, our first preference will be to send the available amount back to the same bank account from where AMP had received the money. Hence, we would need details of the bank account to send the money: Name of the bank, name on the bank account (has to be name of the deceased), bank account number, and routing number at which the bank receives wires from the US (you may need to call the bank to acquire this).
